Simon Ammann caused a chain reaction with his new bindings system. Now also the Norwegians want to try the modification. Head coach Mika Kojonkoski is hoping to achieve better results at the skiflying World Championships in Planica, where the Norwegians want to win the title.

"That will be a good experience for us", he said to Norwegian newspaper "VG". "The bindings helped others. I think that it could also help us to get better results."

Kojonkoski wants to use the competition in Kuopio on Tuesday as a test. Anders Jacobsen missed the final round on Sunday as 41st, Roar Ljoekelsoey was the best of Kojonkoski's athletes as 19th. But he was more than 50 points behind the winner. Obviously reason enough for Kojonkoski to give the new bindings a chance.
